Lee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization, chartered in 1974 for the purpose of providing services to persons with developmental disabilities in Lee County, S.C.  Our administrative office is located at 842 McLeod Place, Bishopville, S.C. (directly behind Lee Co. Health Dept.)

Services provided consist of an Adult Day Program, two Intermediate Care Facilities, nine Community Training Homes, twelve Supervised Living apartments, an Early Intervention program, a supported Employment program, and two weeks of summer services provided for 40 school age children with disabilities.

Lee County Disabilities and Special Needs Boards now serves more than 170 families and employs 120 staff.  Budgets and assets total over 4 million dollars, with an annual audit performed by certified accountants.
