Message from executive director

As the new Executive Director of Lee County DSN Board, it is indeed a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful organization. I am committed to ensuring that all persons that receive services through Lee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board are supported and empowered to grow pass their disabilities to their "Abilities", impacting the community where they work, live and play! As we look forward to the future of our delivery system, we see many changes and advancements. The Board is positioning itself to meet the new challenges head-on. We look forward to the next 45 years as we continue to build on the past and we explore the new frontier that is before us. With God's help we will continue to be a shining star in Lee County.

Shontenna Jett,

Executive Director

Staff Oath, "WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER"

The individual is not an interruption in our work.

The individual is the purpose of our work.

The individual is not an outsider in our Agency; The individual is the MAIN focus of our agency.

If  it were not for the individual, there would be no reason for this Agency.

An individual is not dependent on us, our livelihood depends on their need for service.

So let us appreciate EVERY individual we serve because we need them as much as they need us!

Valarie Wilson, Supervised Living Coordinator
